What We Provide
Family Roots in Scotland will provide you with a Family Pack containing:
- a Family Tree (either single-line or family-wide)
- supporting Notes on all members of your Family included in the Family tree
- all copy documents researched to support your Family Tree
- all paper documents obtained to support your Family Tree
Once our work for you is completed, your Family Pack will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. All electronic information provided will be compressed on to disk and will be password-protected. Family Roots in Scotland will ask you to confirm receipt of your Family Pack before advising you of the necessary password.
Your Family Tree
Family Roots in Scotland will provide you either a single-line of your Family Tree, or a family-wide version, as directed by you. All of the trees drawn will be provided in .pdf 
format. Each tree will also come with a library of associated Copy Documents.

Your Family Tree Notes
Family Roots in Scotland will provide you with a set of notes to support your Family Tree providing information on the geographical and social history of your family.
If any of the information provided has not come from official sources, these notes will identify where the information has been obtained. Notes are also provided in .pdf format.

Regular Progress Updates
Family Roots in Scotland provides its services on a Pay-As-You-Go basis. Once we have reached the limits of your current payment (see Pay-As-You-Go Price List), we will contact you to advise of our progress, to provide you with an honest assessment of the likely success of continuing the research and request your further instructions.
Family Roots in Scotland will also contact you should we identify a piece of information from one of the Other Sources that may be of interest to you/add to the details of a member of your Family Tree/requires additional costs. An indication of the likely costs involved will be advised to you for your further instruction.
If you decide at any point that you do not wish any more work carried out on your behalf, Family Roots in Scotland will prepare and dispatch your Family Pack.
Family Roots in Scotland will also contact you should we believe we have exhausted every reasonable source of information in the research of your Family Tree. With your agreement, we will prepare and dispatch your Family Pack accordingly.
Privacy
All of the information provided by Family Roots in Scotland in your Family Pack is for your private, personal, non-commercial use only.
All of the information provided by you to Family Roots in Scotland is treated in strictest confidence.
Once our work for you is completed, your information will be retained by Family Roots in Scotland for a further 30 days to aid any subsequent enquiry you may have on you Family Pack. Thereafter, it will be deleted.
Family Roots in Scotland does not provide any information to 3rd parties.
